{What I Wore} Metallic Polka Dots

Hey Fab! As per our disclosure policy, we use affiliate links that may result in compensation if you click links & make purchases.

We celebrated my Daddy's 70th birthday this weekend and I pulled out this pretty Off The Shoulder Metallic Dot Dress from Eloquii for the occasion.

It is such a great, easy wearing dress and I was so grateful for that because there is nothing worse than trying to enjoy yourself and having to fuss with your clothes. It has elastic all along the top so it stays in place and you really don't even have to use the neck ribbon if you don't want to but I like that they add a pretty element to the dress.

I have these Fergalicious wedges in three colors, black, taupe & poppy. Only the taupe color is currently available but here is a similar shoe and although the heel is 4 1/4 inches high, thank the heavens they don't feel like it at all. I seriously want to kiss whoever invented wedge heels .

Plus Size {Fashion} Pick of The Day | #VBxTarget Black Calla Lily Satin Ruffle Hem Dress

Hey Delights!

Did you shop the Victoria Beckham for Target collection? I did but only online because while in some cities plus sizes were readily available in store, in my city it was not (click here to check for plus size in store in your city),

But anyway, I love the mod, laid back, feminine style of the collection, so I purchased a few pieces, like the Blue Stripe Poplin Gathered Waist Dress & the Retro Floral Tie Waist Romper.

But I chose the Black Calla Lily Satin Ruffle Hem Dress as my #PlusSizePick because I have seen it on so many different body shapes and it looks gorgeous on EVERYONE!
I have seen/read a few things from those who shopped in store about sizes and thought I would share the biggest one with you ladies. The sizing may be a bit tricky, mainly in the pants, so make sure you check out the size chart.

Some pieces have of course already sold out, so if you are on the fence about buying, I would suggest that you just jump over it and get what you are eyeing. Target has the best shipping, free over $25 and returning things is easy.

Anyway, I am excited to get the pieces I ordered and I will of course share them on le blog!

Hello Delights!

April showers bring...leopard rain boots & fab trench coat moments. I purchased this Via Spiga trench coat back in December for such a crazy deal and although mama nature wasn't ready to let Spring be great, GREAT just yet, I pulled it out & rocked it last week.

And while my trench coat collection runs really deep with lots of colors, I did not have a white one so I snagged this T Tahari single breasted trench. It has a lace flap back which is so pretty and today it is only $24 in my size (2x). Win WIN!!!!!!

I have had these boots forever and all LOVE to the inventor of the bubble umbrella 🌂.While folks were wet & struggling & the wind 💨was breaking their regular umbrellas like they were made of paper, I was dry, dancing in the streets & singing in the rain.💃

Cheers to April and let's hope all this crazy rain will bring the most beautiful flowers!

The CurvaCast Episode 13: #JetSetCurves Travel To Asia Interview Featuring Contessa Gibson

Hello Delights!

I am stoked to be back with a brand new episode of the CurvaCast. This episode features an interview with one of my all time favorite women, Contessa Gibson.

Contessa went on an amazing journey to Asia that I followed along on Instagram via her hastag #AsiaWithTess and I knew that I wanted to feature it on the blog and as y first interview on the CurvaCast.

So we met up a few weeks ago and just had a major gab session and she shared so much good travel advice.
Listen in as she shares tips and her experience including why she would buy her wedding dress from Asia, how she navigated the language barrier, a shady moment related to getting the required visa, possible ways to stretch your US dollars, how she dealt with the 20 hour flight time, how a health emergency was handled, what it was like to be a rare black person in certain areas and soooo much more.

{What I Wore} Roller Skating

Hey Delights!

My year of getting back to the things I love continues!

Yesterday we took the wee one roller skating, something that I haven't done in like 20 years & praise the Lort, I didn't fall & break anything 💃

When I was in my twenties, while a lot of single girls my age were going to ladies night at the clubs, I was going skating Thursday nights and it was always so much fun.

And aside from surviving this latest skating experience, I was reminded of how much really love roller skating, even though I have never been that great at it.

And isn't that one of the best things about loving something?  It doesn't have to be perfect to beautiful. ❤️
